Hayden Panettiere Saves the Whales

Everyone’s favorite immortal cheerleader has been using her new found fame to do some good in the world. Hayden was in Tiji, Japan on Sunday to take part in a Save the Whales event to bring awareness to the death of countless whales in the pro-whaling nation of Japan.
Conservation groups along with Campaign spokesperson Hayden Panettiere announced a new global conservation campaign “Save the Whales Again!” while premiering several Public Service Announcements (PSAs) featuring Hayden, Pierce Brosnan, Alexandra Paul and others.

If this 18 year old REALLY wants to make a difference she should save her airfare to Japan (1st class, no doubt–and legal alcohol) and stick to our shores. There’s crushing human American poverty in Appalachia, the Mississippi Delta, and Native American settlements.

[...] Hayden Panettiere hosted the Whaleman Foundation Benefit last night at Beso in Hollywood. The Whaleman Foundation raises money to prevent the gray whale hunt, Japanese whaling, and deadly sonar. Hayden has been actively involved in trying to save sea life for quite sometime now and even traveled to Japan to take part in a demonstration. [...]
