It appears that Carrie, Miranda, Samantha, and Charlotte will be getting some company when they return to the big screen. The people that make the decisions have decided to add some new blood into the mix and have tapped Jennifer Hudson to be involved in the project.

Hudson, 25, is in final negotiations to play the assistant to central character Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, according to movie industry journals the Hollywood Reporter and Daily Variety.

After winning the Oscar for her performance in “Dreamgirls” you would have thought she would have been a bit more active in Hollywood. A couple of small rols is not what you thought she would b doing. Hopefully she doesn’t become known as the American Idol contestant that sang that one great song in a movie and faded way.
