For years Oprah Winfrey has been a stable part of the lives of many women at 4PM. She has directed people on what to read, what to buy, who to vote for, and what their poop should look like. However, even her run as the Queen of daytime television has to come to and end. Oprah has declared she will leave her show on September 9, 2011. Expect a massive blitz of specials dedicated to the talk show hos and cultural icon. Without her doing her Favorite Things episodes how will people know what to buy and how will small unknown writers become millionaires?

The pair got to kiss a bit on this week’s episode that angered family groups that complained about the threesome themed episode. All I know is that I need to start watching this show…or at least getting it on Tivo so I can skip all the garbage leading up to the greatest scene ever on the CW.

Mad Men is the hottest cable show out there today and I have never watched an episode. I caught a few glimpses here and there, but have yet to sit down long enough to get into the series. I am a fan of Breaking Bad though and all of you should watch that show. Well back to my Mad Men topic. January Jones, one of the curvy female stars, is featured in the latest issue of GQ Magazine and I have to say I think I am really missing out on a quality television show.

Bethenny will be leaving the Real Housewives mid-season to star in her own reality series that will follow her growing cooking business and publishing business. She will be replaced by socialite Sanja Morgan on the show.

David Letterman took his show down a bit more serious path last night when he revealed that he had testified before a grand jury in relation to an extortion attempt related to sexual relationships he has had with female staffers from his show. During the opening of the show as Letterman took to his desk he explained what was going on and tried to make some jokes in the process. The crowd laughed and applauded when he admitted to his relationships – which seemed odd, but what can you do.
