Susan Finkelstein wanted to see her Phillies in the World Series so much she couldn’t even wait to buy tickets. She took to the internet and went looking for a new way to barter for seats. her method – a sex for tickets ad on Criagslist. Only problem with that process is it is illegal to trade sex for tickets and that is what she found out when police responded to her ad. The 43 year old was arrested after offering to performs certain acts with the officer for two seats to the game. Not only will she not be going to a game, she was charged with multiple criminal offenses, had her mug shot go national, and even made the front page of the Post. Philly must be proud to have this woman as the face of their team going into game 1 tonight in the Bronx!

David Letterman extortion attempt

David Letterman took his show down a bit more serious path last night when he revealed that he had testified before a grand jury in relation to an extortion attempt related to sexual relationships he has had with female staffers from his show. During the opening of the show as Letterman took to his desk he explained what was going on and tried to make some jokes in the process. The crowd laughed and applauded when he admitted to his relationships – which seemed odd, but what can you do.

Merriman denies harming Tila Tequila

San Diego Chargers all world linebacker, Shawne Merriman, is denying charges that he in any way harmed reality star Tila Tequila. Hhis story states that he was trying to prevent an intoxicated Tequila from leaving his home until safe transportation could b arranged for her. Tequila took to Twitter on Sunday evening and stated that accusation of her being drunk were crazy because everyone knows she is allergic to alcohol, but other statements go against that statement.

These Tweets from Tila’s account state that she was drunk heading into the Chargers pre-season finale over the weekend. On top of that the pair attended a party on Saturday night where it has been reported that Merriman drank only bottled water while Tequila did enjoy alcoholic beverages including shots of tequila and vodka straight from he bottle. This is now going to come down to a he said she said situation and if it turns out Merriman was keeping a drunk off the roads I say good for him, but if he did choke Tila I think the NFL needs to look at the abuse of women that goes on with NFL players.

Ryan Alexander Jenkins, the reality show contestant that was wanted for questioning in the death of his wife Jasmine Fiore, was found dead of an apparent suicide in Canada.

Alexander was a contestant on the VH1 romance show Megan Wants A Millionaire where wealthy men try to win the heart of another reality show regular Megan Hauserman – the show has been canceled amid the murder investigation. Alexander was found in the closet of his room at the Thunderbird Motel in Vancouver after failing to check out on Sunday.

Plaxico Burress Pleads Guilty

Plaxico Burress’ life has officially gone down the train after pleading guilty to weapons charges today in New York. The former star of the New York Giants Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots will be spending the next two years in jail.

Burress issued a guilty plea to a reduced charge of attempted criminal possession of a weapon and has agreed to a prison sentence that will not allow him to be eligible for parole for at least 20 months. Plea bargaining for the former NFL receiver broke down because the Manhattan DA was insisting on at least a two year stint behind bars. When Burress is once again a free man he will be 34 years old and probably facing an eight game suspension similar to Michael Vick. Who will invest money in an aging receiver that just spent nearly three years away from the game? Just an example how poor judgment can have very bad outcomes.

Dr. Conrad Murray to be charged with Manslaughter

Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson’s personal doctor, will reportedly be charged with manslaughter in the death of the pop icon. According to story from Fox News, Murray could be arrested as soon as next Wednesday and the investigation into the events surrounding the death of Jackson were still ongoing.

Dr. Murray posted this video on YouTube last week thanking his supporters and claiming he was innocent of all claims being made against him.

Murray is accused of providing Jackson with and administering the intravenous anesthetic propofol to help him sleep, but failed to monitor him properly. The propofol was list as a contributing factor in his death and authorities are still attempting to obtain enough evidence to charge the doctor with second degree murder.

Fiore’s mother confirmed that the two were dating and said that she wasn’t aware of any serious issues that could have led to her daughter being killed. According to reports the pair left on Thursday for a poker tournament in San Diego. Police believe that Jenkins is currently driving in Fiore’s Mercedes, that he has switched plates on the car, and possibly fled to Canada – his home country.

Audra Harmon was driving with her children when she was pulled over by an Onondaga County police officer for speeding and talking on a cell phone while driving. Now most people will put up a little fight, take the ticket, and go to court to fight it. However, Harmon decided to get out of her car and follow the office because she wanted to see the tape from the police car’s video camera. Well that isn’t going to happen and the officer ordered Harmon back inside her car. After that he tasered the mother twice and arrested her for disorderly conduct. She is now suing and seeking unspecified monetary damages on an array of charges including false arrest and police brutality. Sure maybe the cop went a bit overboard with the taser, but you can never assume any person is not going to attempt to harm you can unless you are told to get out of your car stay inside. Sara Stokes was once an aspiring singer that appeared on Diddy’s Making the Band 2, but today she is facing assault charges for stabbing her husband in front of her three children. The mug shot of Sara what could be interpreted as an abused woman that was protecting herself, but that is not the case. According to reports, and a statement from her lawyer, Sara fell down and hit her head on the ground after an argument with her husband. She then grabbed a knife and stabbed him in the arm. She was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Of course her lawyer put a nice spin on it by saying that the couple of passionate and that the husband was injured trying to help Sara up from her fall. Sure, makes sense that a knife would be involved in that process.
