Stars turned out last night for the 2009 ALMA Awards, which recognizes achievements in music, movies, and television of Hispanic artists. The red carpet was a non-stop parade of some of the most beautiful women in the world.

Roselyn Sanchez, who I think is one of the most attractive women anywhere, was looking so sexy it was almost too much to even look at her. She was joined by Salma Hayek, Jennifer Morrison, Eva Longoria, Selena Gomez, Jordana Brewster, and Jamie Lynn Sigler.

Busty Latin beauty Salma Hayek confirmed rumored reports that she is expecting a child. The executive producer of Ugly Betty will also be tying the knot with the babies daddy.

Pinault, 44, is the CEO of PPR, a luxury goods firm which owns Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, as well as a French department store and a national music chain.

Hayek, 40, is busy with her latest project “Ugly Betty,” the hit ABC show which she executive produces and also guest stars. Her film credits include “Bandidas,” “Frida,” and “54.”

How come people can’t get married then have the kids? What is with the getting knocked up first and having to get married to make it look good. Of course Britney and K-Fed got married before they had kids and that wasn’t exactly a fairy tale now was it? We wish Salma and Frenchie the best of luck on their new family.

The rumors say they are and Penelope Cruz is going along with it enough to keep the rumor mills spinning.

Penelope Cruz claims she knows why those lesbian rumors refuse to die. The “Vanilla Sky” actress, who has long been the subject of speculation about her sexuality, says she helped keep them going.

Cruz has been friends with Salma Hayek since she came to the U.S. from Spain about seven years ago. There friendship started a buzz, which grew a lot louder when she groped her friend’s behind at a press conference while the two were promoting their film “Banditas.”

“I grabbed Salma’s ass just to keep things moving, because everyone was a little slow,” Cruz said while promoting her new film “Volver” reports Australia’s Courier Mail. “And, of course, the energy changed when I did that.”

Good for you Penelope. You go and grab that fine ass if you feel the urge to keep a hot lesbian rumor going in Mexico. If these two ladies ant to have an open explicit relationship for the world to see I say go for it. I think Penelope will need to go a bit further next time like releasing a hidden camera sex tape of the two….it’s Christmas and I can dream.
