Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri split

Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri have reportedly ended their seven year relationship. According to reports Dupri is telling friends that the couple is over and that they had been moving in different directions for some time. The timing of the announcement isn the best considering Janet is currently mourning the loss of her brother, but love does not run on a schedule I guess — that sounded deep right? Is it a bad time to mention the huge Janet tattoo Jermaine got earlier this year…good call guy!

Janet Jackson wants Michael’s kids

It’s no secret that the Jackson clan is a bit on the dysfunctional side so it is important that Michael’s children go with a stable adult and that just might be Janet Jackson. Katherine Jackson was named guardian in Michael’s will, but she is 79 years old and has some financial issues to deal with. Not to mention the possibility of exposing the kids to papa Joe and his dreams of a new Jackson 3 group.

According to some reports Janet has thrown her name in to the brewing custody battle for Paris, Prince, and Blanket. Janet has the advantage of being very successful, not having financial issues, and seemed to be the closest sibling to Michale over the years – especially since she didn’t need his help financially. With the remaining members of the Jackson 5 in talks to start a reality show and now pushing for more cash since the death of Michael having the kids around that would be a bad idea. 2009 BET Awards Performances and Photos

The 2009 BET Awards were supposed to be a tribute to the memory of Michael Jackson, but after being around for so many years this network still can’t seem to get things right. In honoring the King of Pop they had Jamie Foxx give a comedic opening in retro Michael Jackson wear and showing off his cameltoe before doing a full stage moonwalk. They had Ne-Yo singing The Lady In My Life, but when they could have tried to get the likes of Mariah Carey, Chris Brown, and Justin Timberlake to join in honoring the legend they didn’t. Their are even rumors that Chris Brown wanted to be on hand to perform a tribute, but was blocked by Jay-Z from doing so. Janet Jackson did give a moving speech thanking the fans for all of their love and support.

Janet Jackson rushed to the hospital

Janet Jackson was scheduled to perform her Rock Witchu Tour last night in Montreal, Canada, but was forced to cancel after she suddenly fell ill and was rushed to the hospital. The cancellation was announced shortly before LL Cool J was about to open the show.

No additional details have been provied about Janet’s condition, but it will probably be some form of exhaustion or dehydraton associated with her hectic touring schedule. The concert will hopefully be rescheduled at a later date.

Janet Jackson is going back on tour. Today on the Ellen DeGeneres show Jackson announced that she would be heading back on the road for her latest tour, Rock With U, to promote her new CD Discipline. Janet Jackson arrived at the Aexander McQueen Boutique Opening in Los Angeles in a pink kimono designed by McQueen. I am all for representing a designer when you are going to their show or store opening, but is the really the best he has? Anyone else Think this thing makes Janet’s boobs look like they are both pointing in opposite directions? It’s like they are trying to run away from that outfit. I think I saw the same thing in the back of the Village Voice in an ad for a “legitimate” Asian Massage Parlor.
