Kris Allen took home the crown as American Idol for season 8. In one of the closests and largest votes in the history of the show, with nearly 100 million votes cast, Kris squeaked out the win. Both Kris and Adma each received a Ford Hybrid for being the top two finalists which I dont think was done last year on the show. Get ready for non stop radio play for the awful single that Kara wrote – Ii don’t care who singe it the song sucks.

American Idol Winner Too Close To Call

Usually we can assume a winner fro American Idol by using DialIdol.com, but even that site is claiming that the voting margin between Kris Allen and Adam Lambert is too close to call at this time with only about 1% separating the two singers. The judge favorite throughout the season has been the always screaming Lambert, but Kris has a solid following of six year old girls that tie up the phone lines every Tuesday night. I guess we will just have to watch and see who Ryan Seacrest calls out tonight. Performances from last night on the flip.

Who was sent home on the May 13, 2009 elimination episode of American Idol? Danny Gokey, Adam Lambert, and Kris Allen were forced to sit through an hour of fill time that included a young African boy singing, Jordan Sparks performing her new song Battlefield, and Katy Perry dressed up as Elvis. I personally hope Adam Lambert is sent home because I am tired of his screaming every song and high pitched yell – yes a yell! Kris Allen has the most star potential is he loosens up a little bit, but I think he has the most potential. I do think that all three o these guys will go the way of Taylor, Ruben, Fantasia with a decent first CD followed by being dropped by a label and trying to find a career on Broadway. For one more week though we get to enjoy two of these guys again. Who as bounced???

Adam Lambert is the current favorite to take home the crown on season 8 of American Idol and follow in the footsteps of other failed winner like Taylor Hicks, Fantasia, and Reuben Studdard. He will do his initial single, a CD seven months later, and be on Broadway within two years. Anyway…he was back home at his old high school for the top three homecoming special when a female fan rushed the stage in her bra. Now I don’t know if anyone told her, but Adam is gay. Women wonder why they can’t find the right guy…ummmm try going after guys that like the boobs. He was not scared like Britney was when confronted by an over excited fan and even gave her a shout out before finishing up his two song set.
