American Idol once again proved that talent is not something that the voting public is looking for when they dial in. This is probably why there hasn’t been an American Idol winner to reach any sort of true success in years and why non-winners usually end up with a more promising and successful career. Tonight was no exception when the singer with the best voice and the best chance to succeed as a mainstream pop star was eliminated. Pia Toscano, the stunning New Yorker with the amazing voice, was eliminated in what can only be called a shocker. On top of the elimination was the fact that the judges used their only save weeks ago for no reason whatsoever. Without Simon this show has lost any edge it had and because of that true talent is being sent home. Look for Pia to sign a deal with a label any day and have more success than anyone else from this season. I have no reason to watch this show now!

fact is she did listen to the advice…moved away from her strong ballads and nailed a Tina Turner song…got voted off. Idol is a joke this season…can any judge be critical with their comments? Everyone nails every song…it’s like a high school talent show where they don’t believe that anyone should get their feelings hurt.
She hardly sounds like a pop star. How can you say she has the best chance. There are 8 other people the public prefer to her.I for one am not a bit shocked I could not wait for her to leave . She is like watching paint dry. I am sure she will put out a record and then everyone can buy it and she will not have to answeer to american idol. Everyone that voted for tha othe contestants were not shocked at all. Obviously her following was not strong enough. I am insulted by the comments that Ryan and the judges made that somehow we did not know what we liked by voting her off. The judges were rude to all the other contestants. She may have a good voice but there are far better entertainers that have the whole package.She did not listen to the advice given to her and it showed.
I am extremly shocked at the results of 4-7-11 results i was hoping for her and scottie to be the runner ups. Iam very disapionted. I vote but i guess not enough!!!!!!!!!!
