Rima Fakih was crowned the 2010 Miss USA winner over the weekend and it didn’t take long for her title to draw some controversy. The first ever Arab-American to take home the crown is getting into some trouble over a sexy stripper like event held by a Detroit radio station in 2007.
Rima took part in the Stripper 101 contest as part of the Mojo In The Morning show for 95.5 in Detroit. During the contest she didn’t remove any clothing, but did have to work the pole in a very sexy manner. She was wearing more clothes during the contest than she was while in her bikini during the pageant and was not as sexy as she was during her lingerie shoot leading up the pageant. Of course the stripper contest is not the way Donald Trump want his Miss USA winners to be acting and it could lead to her issuing a public apology for the incident. She is just the latest in a long line of beauty contestants to get caught up in controversy in recent years. Carrie Prejean got in trouble for remarks made about gay marriage, topless, pictures and a sex tape. Miss Teen USA Lindsey Evans was arrested, Miss Kentucky Alysha Harris got down and dirty with Randy Moss, Miss Nevada Katie Rees has been in hot water for years after naughty pictures surfaced, and Miss Washington Elyse Umemoto caused a stir after pictures surfaced of her getting a bit wild.<
