Katherine Heigl is adopting a baby

Rumors regarding Katherine Heigl adopting a baby are apparently true according to her representative.

The Grey’s Anatomy complainer who is currently fighting for her television life in the upcoming season and her husband Josh Kelley  will be adopting a 10 month old special needs child from Korea.  Now I am all for people adopting, but I still have an issue with celebrities making the art of adopting out of the country some sort of cool thing to do.  With the amount of children in the US looking for a home and so many kids being shuffled through foster care you would think she could have gone through channels here to adopt a child.
