DJ AM found dead at 36

Adam Goldstein, better known as DJ AM, survived a plane crash a year ago along with Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, but tonight he was found dead in his New York City apartment.

Goldstein was found face down and shirtless in his apartment and the circumstances surrounding his death were called unclear, but nothing criminal is currently suspected.  The famous DJ shot to mainstream media fame when he started dating reality star Nicole Richie.  The cause of death will not be made available until the medical examiner performs an autopsy and I would assume toxicology tests.  Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
