2009 BET Awards Performances and Photos
Posted on June 29th, 2009The 2009 BET Awards were supposed to be a tribute to the memory of Michael Jackson, but after being around for so many years this network still can’t seem to get things right. They had Ne-Yo singing The Lady In My Life, but when they could have tried to get the likes of Mariah Carey, Chris Brown, and Justin Timberlake to join in honoring the legend they didn’t. Their are even rumors that Chris Brown wanted to be on hand to perform a tribute, but was blocked by Jay-Z from doing so. Janet Jackson did give a moving speech thanking the fans for all of their love and support.
