Annie Duke and Joan Rivers made no secret of their dislike for each other and that made this finale of Celebrity Apprentice. Who did Donald Trump select as the winner of Celebrity Apprentice May 10, 2009?

The only reason Joan Rivers won is because she is a more known celebrity than Annie Duke. Annie Duke did an awesome job and I believe was the real winner.

I can’t believe that Donald Trump could not see Joan Rivers’ true colors. Yes, she could bring on the tears but she lied and belittled Anne, always acting as though she were better than Anne. Why didn’t Donald Trump just call the party planners and see how she was to work with. She was nasty to Clint. I would have fired her early in the show. I don’t think I can watch this again next year; I have watched every season with this being the most disappointing. Donald, you blew it this time!

I think Donald Trump combed a bit of his brain over with his hair when he picked Joan Rivers over Annie Duke to be his next apprentice. She made an embarrassment of his program and will make an embarrassment of him by the time she’s finished. Annie Duke is much more professional and did an over-all better job at pulling off her tasks and raising money. I say “BOOO!!!” to Donald Trump and his choice.

i think joan did a great job, annie played like a poker player, she was not nice person,joan knew what to do, and in the end joan bought in more money then annie did, annie and brandy gang up on melisa when they came in the board room, that was not nice, annie is two face person, joan tells it like it is, and did you see that tracy and scott and rodman picked joan over annie, that should tell you something there, annie is not nice person, joan can not be nice also, but she is a business women and a mother first.. i’m glad that she doing what she is doing helping people weith aids and others that are sick, i had a cousin that died with aids and she had a hard life and she was a mother of two kids, i miss her very much she was 45 years old .i want to thank you joan rivers. for caring for pther people that need you,

No doubt, Donald Trump made a deal with Joan Rivers in order to get her back onto the show after Melissa was fired. This thing had to be rigged. Anne was a better player, raised more money, was more resourceful, showed class and beat everyone (including Clint Black in a jingle contest) that was put in front of her. I run two companies myself and I would never hire Joan Rivers for anything. She is far too emotional and is a loose cannon. I will not be watching Celebrity Apprentice again.

CAN YOU SAY RIGGED!!!! What was Trump doing? I could tell early in the show that Donald had made up his mind about Joan winning. How could he let her get away with the lies and disrepecting others the whole show. Annie showed class, respect and did not lie like Joan did. I will never watch this show again because it is RIGGED!!!!!

So, let’s recap. Annie brought in the most money for charity (by far), won the most as project manager, and in fact never lost as PM, she never spewed the vile and disgusting comments that the Rivers “women” did on the show. Trump was clearly unwilling to stand up to his friend … and to not call out that disgusting behavior showed me a side of him that was sad to see.
Joan and Melissa should have ruined their careers after their displays … now Trump has ruined his.

I love this show. My husband and I have watched every single show and are always happy when the new season begins. I really don”t care who wins as long as they never cancel the show.

Totally rigged. Annie won. It wasn’t even close. Did this moron (Trump) forget that the entire world watched as the event planners refused to work for The Apprentice due to Rivers’ behavior? He actually questioned whether Annie was being truthful in her presentation of the facts surrounding the planner’s refusal to work even though we had just witnessed her being agressively removed from the planner’s office by an employee. Obviously this show is rigged. What a crock of …

I love that Joan River won! Annie was too cocky and if Joan was mean what was Annie? She called everyone and complained about Joan.

i believe he chose the right persson to win the show annie was a two faced bitch the whole season of the show. so i believe he made a good choice. but thats just my opinion.

Donald Trump has lost his mind…we saw a side Joan Rivers that he didn’t see….because if he did she never should have won. Of these two Annie Duke was the clear winner. Friends are friends but business is business I thought Trump definitely made the wrong choice. If for no other reason the money she raisedand isn’t hat what he is about.

Totally lost my respect for Donald Trump and the show. Won;t be watching the next season. It was clearly rigged or political or something – maybe she bought her victory!! Annie Duek was tough, smart, won pretty much every task, hs amazing positive energy and is also a mother of 4. She won every task from cooking a frozen entree to composing a jingle while joan rivers was defensive and yelled illogically like a loser. Disappointed that Piers, Ivanka and Don Juior did not stop him from turning thsi show into such a spectacle. Did I say it already – never watching this joke of a show again!

Cannot believe tha trump sold out so blatantly and went against his own tagline. Nothing personal, just business.
We ll he made it personal, the show was rigged and joan was disgusting. Her arguments were illogical and attacjs were very personal and uncalled for. I don;tg think Annie lied as was accused. And she played a fantastic game. She is clearly a very smart woman and Donald obviously wasn’t looking to hire anyone smart.
Donald you blew it and you just ruined your own shows ratings – very few people (those with brians anyway) will watch this show again given its unfair and political, predetermined premise.
As far as I’m concerned, Annie Duke won! She will go far in life and have better karma than any of the Rivers women or for that matter, Mr. Trump.

Joan by far deserved that win.Don’t forget she’s 75yrs and not only kept up with everyone but kicked their butt’s. More compassion, more morals and showed absolute loyalty. Give the Lady some credit will you. Anne was a joke…..business is all about person touches and ANne has none. As for that designer that quit….we he was purely out of his league and Joan knew it.
He was an hired and couldn’t produce so he dropped the basket. Weak weak, weak……Again Joan was right on the money. Joan you ROCK well done.

The Celebrity Apprentice finale was viewed in Australia last night. I can tell you Mr Trump that you’ve lost your Australian audience for future episodes. Why would anybody bother watching a show that’s clearly rigged – there’s not point when the outcome is completely unfair. Annie Duke should have won and Joan Rivers was one of the most unlikely winners. Joan winning is an insult to the intelligence of the audience that watches the show. I was a dedicated fan of the show but I’m not going to waste my time watching future episodes with pre-determined and / or unfair outcomes. However the only bit of justice and karma is that Joan and her stupid daughter have completely ruined their reputations and so has Donald Trump.

I’ve never missed an episode of the Apprentice, but i will never be watching it ever again. This entire season i felt it was rigged. Donald would fire whoever was the lesser know apprentice, instead of the person who performed the worst on the challenge.
Throughout the season he has some clear favorites (Joan, Clint, Melissa, Dennis), it was disgusting. What about him firing Khloe when she came up against Clint in the boardroom……and Clint was an absolute disaster, a complete, unfathomable disaster……
But Joan was his winner from the start, you could tell from about the 3rd episode, she could say nothing wrong, whenever Donald asked her who to fire she pretend to start crying and say “i can’t choose”.
He’d never press her for an answer either, like he does with everyone else in the game. Then she called Annie worse than Hitler, again Donald said nothing…….he’s fired people for much much less than that before.
And then the event planner quitting in the final, and Donald didn’t even acknowledge that Joan had caused him to quit. I mean, wtf….. At least Mark Burnett had the balls to not edit it out like Donald wanted.
You should be shamed of yourself Donald Trump.
