Who did The Bachelor select?

Jason Mesnick had to select between Molly Malaney and Melissa Rycroft on The Bachelor.   Who did he propose to and what did they say?

Jason tells Molly it isn’t in the cards and they have a very sad split.  Melissa was brought out and was in a somber moo as she walked up to Jason not knowing what was about to happen.  Jason tells her he is completely in love with her as he pulls a ring from his pocket and drops to one knee.  He opens the Neil Lane diamond engagement ring and proposes.  Melissa drops down on her knees and accepts the proposal and his final rose.
