The 2009 Miss America Pageant Preliminary Competition at the Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas. The 52 girls are randomly placed in three groups. Over the three days of preliminaries, the girls compete in the talent competition, Swimsuits, Formal gowns, and on stage interview question. The finals will be held on Saturday January 24 and will be broadcast live on TLC.
