Miss America 2009 was crowned last night and Katie Stam made Indiana proud. The 22 year old Miss Indiana is a former University of Indiana student was presented with the crown by Miss America 2008 Kirsten Haglund. The event was held at the Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas and hosted by Mario Lopez.
