Playboy causes controversy in Mexico

The Mexican edition of Playboy magazine is causing outrage because the model, Maria Florencia, is featured on the covered in a depiction some are calling a likeness of the Virgin Mary.  Not only that, but the tag line on the cover reads We Love You, Maria.  The issue went on sale December 1 which was the week that a pilgrimage to the Mexico City shrine of Virgin of Guadalupe began.  Priests have called the image blasphemous and Playboy has released a statement stating that the magazine in Mexico is printed by a licensee and was no approved by the corporate headquarters.  Did Playboy cross the line with this cover?
