Best selling author Michael Crichton has passed away at the age of 66 after a battle with cancer. Crichton is probably best known for his novel turned movie Jurassic Park and for his award winning medical drama ER. Crichton got his start writing while still in medical school when he penned The Andromeda Strain which he sold for $250,000 to Universal. Some of his other novels worth reading include Sphere, Congo, Rising Sun, and Disclosure. His novels became stable of movie making after his dinosaurs ate up box office gold. He has been married five times and has one child.
