Texas Tech stuns Texas

November 2, 2008

It came down to the fourth quarter between number one Texas and number seven Texas Tech.  Tech had led the entire game until a Vondrell McGee 4 yard rushing touchdown put the Longhorns up with only 1:29 left in the game. Only problem with that is it gave Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell one second too much time.  With a strong kickoff return to the Tech 36 yard line Harnell led a game winning drive for the ages.  With only 8 seconds left Harnell lofted a pass down the right sideline for Michael Crabtree who made the catch at the three and walked into the end zone with one second on the clock.  Tech will move up into the top five with real BCS Championship hopes while Texas will have to regroup and see how far they fall after the 39-33 loss.
