Shakir Stewart seemed t have it all going for him recently. The music executive who started out at Hitco was known for signing such acts as Ciara and Beyonce and moved on to take over for Jay-Z at Def Jam was found dead late yesterday from a single gun shot wound to the head. The gun shot is believed to be self inflicted and authorities are ruling his death a suicide. Stewart moved to Def Jam in 2004 as Vice President of A&R and took over for Jay-Z in 2007.
