Effigy of Sarah Palin hanging from a noose draws outrage

You know it’s Halloween and election season when you stop in for some tasty candy and see VP nominee Sarah Palin hanging in effigy from a noose at a West Hollywood home.  Chad Michael Morisette, who lives at the house in question, believes that the effigy is fine since it is following the scary spirit of Halloween, but other feel differently.  The ladies from the View all felt the decoration was in bad taste and was just not appropriate.  The effigy is legal and will remain up until after the Halloween season.  In order for this to be deemed a hate crime it would need to threaten violence towards a person and since it is just a decoration no such conclusion can be drawn. What are your opinions?
