*FAIL* Seems to be a lot of dumb republicans making national news trying to make democrats look bad and having it backfire. The threatening letters from No on Prop 8 to companies that have donated more than $10K to Equality California are my favorite, but this is up there!

It’s disgraceful to see someone perpetrate a hoax like this, especially with everyone already on edge regarding race, the election, etc. This girl must have mental problems to set herself up like this, especially if she thought she was doing one of the campaigns a favor. Unfortunately, now we have to listen to conspiratorial drivel reach deafening levels as each camp’s supporters read more into this than there is: just the misguided actions of a dingbat who needs psychoanalysis more than anything.

No way. The location she claims this happened is a lively area with many restaurants and bars. At 9PM – someone would have seen this. Pearl and Liberty in Bloomfield is not “the wrong side of town” – it’s a charming old “Italian” neighborhood, which has experienced some pretty significant rejuvenation in the last 10 years. 2 of our favorite dining establishments are in that very block. The one – a steakhouse – Tessaro’s is a Pittsburgh legend (with by the way, a mostly “white” clientele – I only add that after reading the description of her supposed attacker to note that it is an area much inhabited by all) and the streets around this area are generally busy until later at night. No way this happened at this location without anyone seeing it.

Also, she wears glasses, but that “black eye” sure doesn’t look like she was wearing them. If you need glasses, you don’t go out after dark without wearing them.

What a faker. She has changed her story, that looks like black eyeshadow, and really, if somone was carving a B into my face with a 5 inch blade, I could only be so greatful that it was so perfect (dispite struggling and twitching in pain) and so shallow as to be almost sure not to scar. What a considerate robber.
And she calls that the wrong side of town? Oye.

its obvious she carved the B in the mirror, not being quite bright enough to realize what she was doing.
shes more then likely is a troubled girl who has just ruined her entire life and opened herself up for criminal charges.
what a flake.
