Levi Stubbs, the lead singer of the Four Tops, has passed away at the age of 72. Stubbs was one of the most influential singers of his generation and a pioneer to the Motown sound that ruled the charts in the 60s. During a stretch of five years from 64-68 the Tops accumulated 12 Top 20 hits. Stubbs retired from singing in 2000 due to poor health, but he will be remember for many years to come through his music. Levis is survived by his wife and five children
