LaDainian Tomlinson and Troy Polamalu ‘Leave Nothing’ Commercial

Posted on October 12th, 2008

If you watched any football today you saw a really cool new commercial from Nike featuring San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson and Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu.  The Leave Nothing Nike football commercial shows both players from the womb and growing up to pros, but along the way each proves they were born to play the game. For those curious about the song used in this commercial it appears to be the background to Land of the Gun by Immortal Technique.

The music is not from Immortal Technique. It’s from one of the Sergio Leone westerns with Clint Eastwood, I believe from “The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly.” The music is written by Ennio Morricone. He did this movie, Fist Full of Dollars, The Mission, Untouchables, and several other classics.

The composition is “The Ecstasy of Gold” by Ennio Morricone.
