Lingerie Football League gets serious

Posted on October 8th, 2008

Lingerie Football, which started off as a gag several years ago to run along side the Superbowl for men wanting to see scantly clad women tackling each other, has turned into a ten team league.  The league will feature games where teams of seven will compete in an all out tackle football game.  The ladies will have on pads, helmets, and lingerie to round out the uniform.

According to league officials the sport has a solid fan base, 40% of which are women, and will feature teams in strong markets.  Some teams to watch out for are Los Angeles Temptation, San Diego Seduction, Chicago Bliss and Phoenix Scorch.  The lucky ladies that make a team can earn over $40,000.

I am a huge fan of the linger-bowl. The only thing that ould really spice it up is if they turned to real football and put Helga the 250lb Norwegian dyke out there with Miss USA
