Elizabeth Hasselbeck leaving The View?
All is not going that well on The View. Elizabeth Hasselbeck, he only political conservative on the panel, is fed up with her very liberal co-hots Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar over the Presidential election.
After a well publicized spat with former co-host Rosie O’Donnell that often created an uncomfortable show to watch and an incident earlier this year where Hasselbeck broke down over the use of the N-word it is easy to see why she isn’t happy. She is the easy target for the more established and outspoken members of panel and Barbara Walters actually intervened an called for a cooling off meeting. Rumors that Hasselbeck might leave the show are heating up and with the election about to really heat up with the current financial crisis and upcoming debates.

I watched the View twice last week and could not STAND Elizabeth Hasselsnatch! She would SPEAK FOR McStain and Palin, like they were her BFFs. She NEVER sees others view points and gets all huffy when people call her out for being “stupid”. Compared to the other women, who have tons of history and wisdom, she looks immature and self-serving.
I feel soo bad for her, she’s always getting gained up on and the show would be nothing if she left. She’s amazing if you ask me for dealing with those idoits as long as she has!
I hope Elizabeth does leave the show!!! She intentionally misleads the public on political issues and she repeats the same trash as McCain and Palin. She sounds just like a Republican puppet. She comes across as very dumb sometimes just like Palin!!!!

Good for her! Take a step up to FOX where the ratings are thru the roof b/c of the one sided “angry” liberals like those on the View. Funny that most of the postings here accuse Elizabeth of being “one sided” narrow minded. Really Look in the mirror folks. If the rumor is true and Elizabeth leaves, looks like View continues it downward spiral of biased journalistic ethics.
Elisabeth is not doing the show any good. I tune everyday only to here
conversations that are not audioable. I’m sure the rating are good, but I turn off from frustration. The show has brought lots of joy to me, by the way Joy is great, and the rest of the gang too. Get rid of Ms. Hasslebeck, and bring someone in with class and understanding of ones opinions.
She needs to leave. I like having a diverse panel, but you cannot have a serious debate with a closed-minded fanatic. Get another conservative to replace her, but one that is not such an idiot.

Having attempted to watch this show a few times, it is very apparent that it is the most vial hour on television today. Though, i tend to sway toward the same views and beliefs as Liz…. Everyone is entitled to their opinion….. Except these bitches (Whoopie & Joy) take their opinions to an unacceptable level…. First, they are ignorant and should not open their mouths about things that they are incapable of understanding and second, they should not try to force their views and beliefs down the throats of everyone around them.
Whoever hired these bitches at the network should be fired.
She needs to leave. She is out of control, immature, and agenda-driven to the point of lunacy. The show has become a joke. It makes women look stupid and shrill. I can’t tell you how many times I have written to the show to complain about her….now, I just turn the show off because it is extremely unpleasant, uncivilized, and propagandistic.

I agre with Stef and Brad. ive, seen the show several times and it always seemed everyone gained up on elisabeth and always raised their voice to talk over hers. but hey what would you expect outta a bunch of liberal low lifes. i always knew barbra walters for her yellow journalism, i got her figured out, aswell as whoopi etc. if elisabeth does leave, id be sad but like others said, she’d be better off goin to a network with better ratings while The View’s goes down. its pathetic how low liberals are talkin about elisabeth over what opinions she has.
I agree with the previous Karen that wrote earlier Elizabeth should leave yesterday, Fox News would be the perfect spot for her, she could run with Rush and Bill. The View is a wonderful show, difficult to watch with Elizabeth on board, she behaves like a 2 yr old, she cries, she yells she has no respect for any other member of the staff including Barbara, even Barbara can not control her. The premise of the show is for people the share different views respecting other members on the show. Elizabeth is apparently incapable of that. She should go asap.
Okay, that is twice on this message board that I have seen people crying because Elizabeth is “gained up on”. I believe the term those people are looking for is “GANGED up on”. This clearly illustrates that people who support Elizabeth are stupid. Though I think she is ignorant and annoying, I enjoy it when the ladies get in fights on the show. It’s the only reason I watch. So I say keep Elizabeth around!

I am so delighted to know Ms Hasselbeck is leaving the View. When she arrived on the scene I stopped watching. She belongs on Fox which is a channel I don’t watch. Can not stand her ultra-conservative-to-the point- of-stupidity point of View. I am not conservativews but she is without a doubt perfectly idiotic.
First of all. i enjoy the view. even though im republican, i must say its immature on how elizabeth is treated by liberal whiners whether if its on the show or on sites like this one. i mean come on, what liberal in here took rosie seriously? one episode i saw i seen rosie defending the terrorists, sayin they value human life. why liberals are that dense is beyond me. elizabeth voices her opinions and liberals insult her, so i insult liberals over such rubbish they say or make-up, after all its a free country. I think this woman should have left a long time ago . She was very lucky getting this job in the first place. I realy like the show, and some times I get tired of Liz’s mouthe but the divercity is why I watch. I don’t want her to leave but I would still watch, and it would be interesting to see who they would put in next, I am avalable, but not nearly as prety.
