Lisa Altobelli is taking former New York Mets pitching prospect, Joseph Petcka, to trial for allegedly killing her 7 1/2 pound cat Norman.
Petcka’s lawyer is claiming that the 205 pound former athlete acted in self defense when he allegedly beat Norman the cat to death last year. Altobelli is countering that Petcka is an angry, jealous, drunken bully that attacked a helpless animal. Well I say anyone that can do such a horrible thing to a poor animal should end up behind bars, but of course he will probably get off with a fine and some community service which is sick. You get caught with a joint you go to jail you kill a pet you get to walk.
