Say Hello to Google Chrome

Google is entering the web browser battle ground today with the highly anticipated launch of Google Chrome.  The initial beta test should kick off today around 11AM PST when Google has a scheduled press conference that should officially launch their new toy and have it available for download.  The website for the browser currently redirects you back to Google’s home page so it is obviously not out there to play with yet.  if you want more info you can check out their comic book that explains what Chrome is supposed to do on their Official Blog.  The picture above is a screen shot of the new browser and is does have a bit of a Firefox feel.
