Cuban Taekwondo Olympian, Angel Matos, has received a lifetime ban from the World Taekwondo Federation after an ugly incident where he kicked a judge in the head. Matos, the 2000 Olympic gold medalist, was competing in the bronze medal match when he was injured after a hit. According to rules he is permitted one minute to obtain medical attention and Matos ran over that time resulting in his forfeiting the match. he reacted a bit harshly as he argued with judges, kicked the judge in the head, and spit on the floor. No exactly what you would call proper Olympic spirit.<
