Shelley Malil is best known for his supporting role in the Steve Carell hit movie 40 Year Old Virgin and for portraying one of the original Budweiser “What’s up?” guys, but now his is under arrest for a horribly vicious attack on his ex girlfriend. Shelley is accused of attacking his ex-girlfriend and stabbing her at least 20 times before attacking her male companion.
Malil was arrested Monday at the Oceanside Amtrak Depot on charges of suspicion of murder, mayhem and burglary. He told authorities that he was on his way to meet with his lawyer in San Diego.

As of now the unidentified woman is expected to survive the attack, but has suffered some very serious injuries.
