Artie Lange enters rehab

Artie Lange, most famous for being the sidekick for Howard Stern, has checked himself into rehab for drug and  alcohol problems.  The comic has made headlines for blowing up on the Stern show and more recently for canceling several performances – most notable Bob Saget’s Comedy Central Roast.

The 40-year-old comedian admitted himself into an intensive outpatient rehabilitation program at the weekend (begs02Aug08), his spokesperson Lewis Kay has confirmed.
