Miss Universe 2008 Dayana Mendoza

Miss Venezuela Dayana Mendoza has been named the 2008 Miss Universe winner. Dayan is a stunning 22 year old beauty who was favored going into the competition. Venezuela has already produced four previous Miss Universe and five Miss World winners. she beat out other finalists from Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Russia and Mexico. Her crown clinching even was the question an answer where she was given the task of explaining the difference between men and women. How did Miss USA Crystle Stewart do you ask? She fell down during the evening gown portion to make it back to back years for Miss USA to fall own.
“Men think that the fastest way to go to a point is to go straight,” explained the trilingual beauty from Amazonas state. “Women know that the faster way to go to a point is to go to the curves.”
