Something tells me that people wouldn’t be NEARLY so opposed if it was two women dancing together. Seriously, we’d have thousands of bachelors setting their TIVOs for it.

DWTS is one of my favorite shows and this comes as a surprise to me that they’d do something like this. I’m not disgusted by the concept of two men dancing together, however. If Lance Bass feels more comfortable with a male partner, then so be it. Still on the fence about this. I guess I’ll wait until the show airs to form my opinions.

This is disgusting. I will not be watching this show. Most people do not want to see this.

It may seem like media propaganda, but let’s face it… there’s gay people in the world, and everyone just has to get used to it.
It has to happen eventually, and the ‘firsts’ are usually the ones that people will make the most fuss over.
As one individual stated above, it’s not really ‘new’ to dancing to have same sex couples, but I think people just like to make a fuss because it’s Lance Bass, and it hasn’t been seen on the show yet.
I say… ‘Whatever… eventually, this won’t mean anything one way or the other.’

I have nothing against gays, but this is beyond absurd. Not only will I never watch that show again, I have locked out the network for this asinine attempt at diversity.

Fluffy,

While I’m not religious myself, it is very pleasant to see a Christian actually following Christ’s teachings. So many ‘Christians’ who post on the Internet are simply uneducated bigots like theRod (above) and give the rest of you a bad name.

never watched the show before, i just may watch now. about time the liberal media backs its words up with some actual equality.

To “peter north”:

You do know that the guy who represents your screen name has had sex with men on camera, right? How does that make you feel?

Most of these remarks aren’t “anti-Christian.” They are opposed to people who claim to be Christian while, at the same time, judging others as if they have that right and privilege. My father is a pastor and my sister a lesbian. He doesn’t judge her, whether he agrees w/ her choices or not. He is not hateful to people he has never even met. He actually tries to incorporate Jesus’s teachings into his life. May I remind all the so-called “Christians” out there that Jesus hung out w/ whores, thieves, drunkards and anyone else who he felt needed his help. He showed them God’s love through the compassion of his actions, not by condemning them w/ ugly words and judgements. Maybe people would be more open to Christianity if they were shown more then judgemental, holier-then-thou attitudes. Try love, compassion and acceptance if you want to convey the love of Christ. You might be surprised.

Just kidding…theRod loves the ROD

Christian’s cheat, lie, steal and are gay, so do Muslims, Jews and Satanists.

Grow up people you are no better than anyone else.

Go ahead, cast that first stone. I hope your kids grow up gay.
