Miss Washington causes a controversy

When it comes to beauty pageant scandal I have to say that Elyse Umemoto, current Miss Washington and the second runner-up in this year’s Miss America pageant, is tame any way you look at it. the only reason this seems to b a controversy at all is because Elyse ran on a platform of women’s empowerment and taking pictures doing some unladylike like things has ruffled some feather. Elyse claims the images were stolen and posted online without her knowledge. She has nothing to worry about because compared to Miss Nevada Katie Rees she is a saint.
