Pregnant man has a girl

The story of Thomas Beattie, the pregnant man that Oprah had on her show, made national attention earlier this year. Thomas has naturally given birth to a baby girl today. The catch of course it that Thomas is not really a man. He is a transgender and decided to keep his female reproductive system intact while going on hormone therapy and having reconstructive surgery on his chest.
A source told ABC News the birth was natural, despite earlier reports Beatie had gone in for a scheduled C-section. The baby was born at a hospital in Bend, Oregon.
Beattie, a female to male trans man, formerly named Tracy Lagondino, told The Advocate this March that he became pregnant and carried the child since his wife Nancy, who’d had a hysterectomy, could no longer have children.
