The Los Angeles Lakers have decided that while the team is in Boston trying to survive Game 6 they will not be opening up the Staples Center for a public viewing of the game. Opening up an arena when the home team is on the road has become a common occurrence as it is a way to generate some revenue and create a great atmosphere for watching the game. Unfortunately when the tried this for Game 2 a near riot broke out between Laker fans and one guy sporting a Larry Bird Celtics Jersey. Judging by the altercation I don’t think this is the celebrity crowd they usually get in LA. Maybe if the Lakers showed this kind of toughness they would keep blowing 20 point leads! Check out the incident here.
