Ed McMahon losing his house

Ed McMahon, the long time sidekick of Johnny Carson, is in danger of losing his multi-million dollar house.  Countrwide Financial has issued a foreclosure notice on the star since his is $644,000 behind on his $4.8 million mortgage.

McMahon, 85, has been unable to work as a pitchman for various products since he broke his neck 18 months ago, said his spokesman, Howard Bragman.

“There are plenty of people affected by the weak economy, bad housing market or bad health,” Bragman said.

The kicker to the story is that McMahon has been trying to sell his house for over two years now and is unable to do so.  The reason he can’t sell?  He lives a couple of doors down from Britney Spears and the crowd of paparazzi scare off all potential buyers.  What else is Britney going to destroy?!?
