Boston Red Sox left hander Jon Lester has just pitched the 18th no hitter in Sox history. The hard throwing left hander shut down the Kansas City Royals for a historical 7-0 victory. Lester struck out 9, walked 2, and had an astronomical pitch count of 130. If you are curious about the last no hitter in the big leagues — well you don’t have to look far it was Clay Buchholz of the same Boston Red Sox.
