Ellen and Portia to Wed

With California overturning the ban on same sex marriages Ellen DeGeneres has announced that she will marry long time girlfriend Portia de Rossi.  The pair have been together since Ellen’s high profile with Anne Heche ended after Anne claimed she was no longer gay – she has since gone one to become penniless according to reports.  Anyway back to some happy news for Ellen.  She announced her plans to marry the 35 year old Portia during the taping of her show and the crowd went nuts.  Check out the video of Ellen announcing her plans on the show here.
