Skimpy Prom Dress leads to arrest

Posted on May 12th, 2008

With all the celebrities in the world walking around half naked is it any wonder a high school senior from East Huston, Texas was arrested for showing up to prom dressed like a street walker? Marche Taylor showed up for prom in what can only be called a low end stripper outfit and was denied entry. At that point an argument broke out about why the student wouldn’t be admitted, getting a refund, and before you know the police were called. What happened next is causing national headlines because Marche was handcuffed and taken from her Senior Prom.

Absolutely no one should be arrested for what they wear. What she is wearing is screaming, “Please give me attention.” Someone should have pulled her aside and talked to her about the inappropriateness of the dress. She should have been informed that all school related functions still must adhere to the dress code. I don’t care if a person is black, white, or yellow they have to follow the dress code.
