Tragedy at the Derby

The most star studded and most well known horse race, the Kentucky Derby, was marred after Big Brown had won the race. Eight Belles, the first filly to run in he Derby since 1999, was the runner-up and collapsed after crossing the line. The filly had tragically broken both front ankles and had to be euthanized on the track. Eight Belles was a crowd favorite and is a tragic lose of a gorgeous animal.
