David Blaine bores you for 17 minutes 4 seconds

Imagine waiting your entire life to go to a live taping of the Oprah Winfrey Show and getting there hoping to see a critically acclaimed author, a famous actor, or be part of one of Oprah’s big giveaways only to see David Blaine hold his breath for 17 minutes and 4 seconds?  Sure that is impressive and it breaks the previous mark by more than 30 seconds, but did we see him fail at this stunt in Lincoln Center a couple of years ago?  Guess wht it made for lousy television in primetime and I don’t think it does any better in the daytime.
