Miami Dolphins make the top pick

April 22, 2008

The Miami Dolphins have been on the clock since the 8th week of the season and they have already come to terms with the top pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.  The Dolphins have signed Michigan tackle Jake Long to a multi year deal according to reports.  The Dolphins had been rumored to be looking in several directions and also a possible trade down, but with no glamorous number one available this year they decided to cut to the chase.  This move leaves Vernon Gholston, Chris Long, Matt Ryan, Darren McFadden, and Glen Dorsey waiting to see when their names will get called.
