Artie Lange walks of Howard Stern Show

Howard Stern’s long time co-host, Artie Lange, has called it quits after an on air battle with his assistant.
When Lange returned, he said Teddy would be “dead” had he reached him and he would be in jail.
Stern then expressed his feelings on the situation, saying he cannot condone Lange’s actions. The comedian, who has had a similar outburst on the air in the past, said he cannot guarantee he can refrain from acting out in the future. Upon hearing that, Stern said he cannot have Lange around with the potential of such actions looming.
Artie then offered his resignation; Stern accepted, but told Lange to leave and cool off. Just before Lange left he told Stern: “I’m not a good person … I gotta leave … I love you”

Talk about getting bent out of shape and taking things a bit to far. Artie had a nice high paying job where he gets to sit around, crack jokes, make fun of people, and see hot chick go at it. To top it off he has an assistant. Hell if you don’t like your assistant you don’t get fired over the person you fire them and hire someone you do get a along with. I bet he is back on the air in a week after cooler heads prevail.

Artie needs to be fired. He should have been fired months ago. Howard Stern
is a creep who loves pitting people against one another. I can’t figure out
a society who rewards scum like him.

To Jim, Change the channel if you don’t like Howard. Didn’t we get rid of people like you that whine….when Howard moved to Sirius
I love Artie but he has serious mental problems. Lets hope he takes some time off, comes back 100lbs lighter and with some therapy under his belt. He is nothing without the Stern show. Good Luck Artie

Artie, calm down. Just get a new assistant. Why walk off over this? What other job are you going to get where you get paid to sleep?

WTF this is f’ed up. Howard pokes at Artie about something that is obviously a very touchy subject and then is surprised when Artie blows up. Howard needs to take some responsibility for what happened. He always pushes things to the breaking point and acts like he had nothing to do with the reaction. Artie also needs to get his life together but thats been obvious for a long time.
