One of the most stirring and emotional performances on last night’s American Idol – Idol Gives Back special was Annie Lennox walking on to a darkened stage wearing a HIV Positive t-shirt and sitting at her piano. Annie and Bono appeared in a video with a family that had been devestated by AIDS. This is her performance.

Annie Lennox is not HIV Positive.. Annie does not possess this illness at all, actually. The reason she was wearing the tee shirt was to promote a cause which she founded which is called, “SING”. This campaign, in conjunction with Comic Relief, raises funds for South African women and children suffering from the AIDS pandemic…
