Idol elimination shocker

Who got sent packing tonight on Idol? This was probably the biggest shocker o the season so far and if you ask me I think the wrong person went home.

The bottom three included Syesha Mercado, Carly Smithson, and Michael Johns who were told simultaneously that they were in the bottom three. Prediction site Dial Idol had Carly ranked last on their list while Tivo prediction had Syesha going home. They were both wrong as Ryan told the bottom three that last year during Idol Gives back week no one was eliminated. Right after getting the contestant hopes up he told Michale that his journey ends tonight. How this guy is gone before Kristy Lee Cook, Carly, Brooke, or Jason Castro is beyond me.
