Jamie Lynn Spears made headlines for being the star of the tween series Zoey 101, for being the little sister of Britney Spears, and most recently for getting knocked up at 16 by her boyfriend Casey Aldridge. If rumors are true Casey is trying to make an honest woman out of Jamie by getting engaged.

“She’s got an engagement ring,” the source says. “She’s been showing it off, talking about it.”

Isn’t it romantic when the forgetfulness of teens when it comes to condom use and a little case of statutory rape can be overlooked and create and wonder lasting front page cover story? Maybe Britney had it all wrong with the getting married first before having her kids. Jamie is just leaning from her elders and trying and different course. And to think in 16 short years we will be able to find out what kind of trouble the new little spears is getting into.
