Britney Spears is taking another stab at acting, but this time she is going to have a bit part on the small screen. Britney, it has been confirmed, will appear on the CBS show “How I Met Your Mother“. Neil Patrick Harris commented on the guest role in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“I was shocked that Madame Spears was willing to come and do some acting,” Neil tells Kevin. “She hasn’t acted in a while. This is a very interesting role. It is very not like her at all in real life in any of her previous chapters. She plays the secretary to another girl that Ted is after. So, it will be very unlike any Britney we have seen before, and we have seen a lot of Britney recently.”

Say what you will about Jamie Spears getting paid to take care of his daughter, but she does seem to be doing better. She is teaching kids to dance, controlling her spending, not heading out in the middle of the night, and is getting back to work. I remember when she hosted SNL and she was funny so this could be a nice step for her.
