Well according to Consumer Reports that is. Miley Cyrus, better known in kid circles as Hannah Montana, has come under fire for failing to wear a seatbelt in her 3-D movie that was just in theaters.
The magazine says 65 percent of the 13- to 15-year-olds killed in auto accidents in 2006 were not wearing seat belts.
“It seems to us that Miley, her father and Disney had a perfect opportunity to help influence teens and counteract — rather than encourage — this trend,” the blog item says.

Now I understand that Consumer Reports is trying to bring awareness to a serious subject by picking on a celebrity. Unfortunately if parents are letting there 13-15 year old children get into a car without buckling up they should be looked at as the bad influence not Miley. On this one I think Disney could have been more aware of the image they were sending out, but let’s not go blaming Miley and her dad.
