Well before I create a post of spoilers for American Idol that will reveal most of the top 50 I want to declare my hopeful for this years scandal. Amy Davis out of Cedar Lake, IN has performed in a band and was a second round qualifier for Nashville Star. What sets Amy apart is her modeling skills and based on that I am a big fan!

Bring it on Simon, he is so cutting sometimes but great to watch better than Paula.
I was also not impressed with her voice. There were some who got cut, that I thought had much better voices and auditions. Jenna Ritzema from Lowell was on a Christian version of Idol and her voice is way much better than Amy’s. In any event, I don’t think she will make it to the end.
I am from the region and you have had another person from Lowell go on to big things, winning the entire competition.
Darren Zancen won the I wanna be a soapstar competition and was on Days of our Lives and I heard he is going to be on One Tree Hill too.
He deserves credit for making it all the way.

We love you Amy! I have so enjoyed hearing you sing locally and know what a dedicated person you are. Keep giving it your best! I hope you make it to the top. You are tops with us, your friends and family in LOWELL.

Voice needs some work, but it’s not bad. Style seems a bit affected. I think that her stage “presence” is what got her the slot to Hollywood. I am not so sure, though, that she’s an Idol winner.
We’ve actually had three others from this region…one from Lowell….Her name was Jenna Ritzema and she was on a Christian version of American Idol a few years ago.
I am from Lowell too! I screamed when I saw her last night! However, I do think her body got more attention than her voice from Simon and Randy!
I really liked her on the show,,her version of “Blue Bayou” was very good,,,but…I am having trouble reconciling her Christian testimony with these very revealing pics of her….I do care about the character of the person I lay my hard earned money down for a CD…..something is wrong here…Did she do these before she became a Christian?
Well…. I am from her hometown of Lowell, Indiana and am pulling for her to do well….we were very excited to see someone from here, make it through to Hollywood tonight!!
You guys are idiots, we’ve had two other people from her region go to reality shows which one was Nicole Jam Rose (which actually came in 2nd in Nashville Star) and Ben from that haircutting competition on Bravo. Everyone keeps mentioning the guys from survivor and (A): they are not original members, and (B): they get paid 100-150 bucks a show to perform just like everyone else in this region. She’s the sweetest girl you will ever know, and a great talent…i hope she does well.
Amy we are pulling for you in Indiana and hope you make it to the top 20??
